Nyeri  County, former Central Kenya HQ is 150 kilometers  North of Nairobi. It covers an area of 3337 square kilometers. The word Nyeri is derived from the Maasai word 'nyiro' meaning red. Nyeri shares its borders with five other counties, including Kirinyaga to the east, Nyandarua to the west, Muranga to the south,  Laikipia to the north and Meru to the North East.

  4. I worked in Nyeri for 5 years. I was stationed at Kiganjo Trout Hatchery offices next to Sagana State Lodge. Under Kiganjo station, I was out-posted to Thego Fishing Camp which used to run trout fish angling. Within the camp, Mountain Lodge Hotel among a chain of hotels run by Africa Tours and Hotels (ATH) operated a 'lunch stop-over'. In your 30 hot tour spots, you didn't include "Mountain Lodge Hotel"
